FTP x The Dalton School

Through our partnership with Dalton, Feed the People NYC has launched a cafeteria food rescue program to further our mission of reducing food waste and addressing food insecurity. We also have a dedicated club at Dalton, where students participate in weekly fridge clean-ups, an event open to both club members and our broader organization.

Feed the People created the school-wide food rescue program at the Dalton School, working with the kitchen staff to rescue and deliver nutritious cafeteria food to those in need!

FTP x Rescuing Leftover Cuisine

One of our most consistent rescuing mission involves working with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine and bringing food from bakeries to shelters, food pantries, and shelters. Check out some of our recent collaborations (including new members Reese and Fatima!) with Breads Bakery!

News!

We were featured in a Yale Daily News Article describing Food Waste Fighters in New York City. Please check it out to hear about how FTP began and learn about other NYC organizations doing amazing work in the same field!
